So there it is. If you look closely on the after x rays you can see the three titanium pins on each side they put in to hold the plates that hold my jaw together. I would have made them bigger but they got all fuzzy. Anyways, I have permanent retainers behind top and bottom front six teeth. I feel like my relaxed face is kinda frowny but I guess that is pretty appropriate. Overall I'm very happy with the results and even though my children never knew me with out them it was 3 1/2 years well spent.

That's so strange, to think that you've been wearing those since Will was younger than Emmy. I like the x-rays a lot....very creepy.
Wow!! Much more dramatic than I expected. I haven't seen you for so long I hardly remember what you look like, Jess. I'm glad you are happy for with the result. I never realized you had the problem. It must have been a painful experience for a long time.
I agree the x-rays are kind of creepy, but I'm sure that would appeal to the Ganyo's! Good for you, Jess.
