Carla and Darrell came over to visit Saturday night and Carla pointed out that the winter pictures on my blog were a little out dated. I told her I had a bunch to put up but just hadn't gotten around to it. So here I am, finally updating. Of course this would be like 5 posts for normal bloggers but since I'm a blog loser they all go into one big ol' post. Deal with it.

Emmy was trying to help me wash dishes and was getting water everywhere. I figured that washing her baby was a bit safer and more fun for her.

We finally named the baby Baby Bella and she takes baths with Emmy every bath night. She especially likes it when she lays back in the tub and you let Baby Bella drain (aka pee) on her tummy.

Gram brought over fixins for strawberry shortcake the other night so of course we had to whip up some real cream. This was the first time the kids had the chance to lick the beaters. It was a hit.

After Em finished licking off the cream she dunked the beater in her yogurt and licked that off, too.

These are our new recliners. Yeah, we are old married people with matching recliners that are a bit too big for our living room. But they are comfy. The kids love to put up the foot rests and chill watching their movies. They especially like that they each have their own chair. One down side: no pop tarts allowed!
The kids have been enjoying the spring weather. They have spent lots of time outside with Gram.

Swinging at Gram's house.

Swinging at home.

Em is actually fearless on the slide. She will go down any slide any time all by herself. But sometimes Big Brother likes to help.

Whoo, we are in for some serious apple picking this fall!

Will is a natural gardener. He is always willing to give Gram a hand with whatever she needs help with.

He wields the hoe like no other. When they finished working at Gram's he demanded they bring the hoe back to our house. I'm not sure if he just liked swinging such an enormous tool around or if he planned to clean up the quack in my flower beds but he must have gotten distracted cause my flower beds are still weedy. I guess I don't pay as well as Gram.

Hopefully the summer will blend seamlessly into spring and the fun and good nature will continue. We are off for the summer starting May 28th. Stop in and see us sometime!

Ok, I can. Cute stuff, honey!
Thanks for sharing the pictures. They bring back memories of my own children's early years, and my memories of you and your sister sharing, fighting, hugging; thank you.
