A couple days before the holiday proper and the snow storm Jen and Vv (VEE-vee as Will lovingly calls her) came to town to do a little baking. Gram was subbing as NCW hadn't joined the rest of the world on Winter Break yet.
We had a batch of Grandma Beulah's chocloate jumbos (some cut as nontraditional people shapes), rolled out white sugar cookies and peanut butter blossoms to contend with.
Jen was in charge of coloring the frosting. The brighter the better, right?
Multitasking momEm slept through the whole shindig but woke up in time to enjoy the spoils of our labors. And boy did she enjoy it!
We all ate too many cookies this day and the next and the next and the next. What a spectacular way to start the holiday celebration!(Photos thanks to Brad)
