Whee haw

It was a spectacular weekend of warm winter weather. It got up into the 30s both Saturday and Sunday so we spent some time on the "mountain" Wayne made between his place and our house. Ready....get set...GO!!!This is why I never competed in any kind of sports whatsoever - my middle name is NOT Grace.Princess of the hill. Em loved loved loved sledding down the slope.She went down four times until she face planted the last time and that was enough. Then we went for a walk in the sled instead. We were joined by Brad and Will and wandered over to Gram's to pick up V who was visiting for the weekend.Em stayed at Gram's to warm up a bit and we took the olderies out for a sled and some hill time. We need to invest in another big kid sled, me thinks.

V took the scenic route to the hill, lets say the road less traveled. And then she got stuck.Brad gave her a boost over the fence and she was on the road again.Will was up and down many many times. He was very reluctant to go in when it was time after being out for over an hour.King of the hill and his minions.

When we finally got everyone out of their wet clothes we took Will and Vv to McDonalds for some lunch, of which they both only ate the fries and played with the Chipmunk toys. We stopped at Target to peruse some toys and had to leave because Will wasn't able to accept that we couldn't bring the Mickey Mouse riding airplane home with us. Overall it was a super groovy fun day. One of the few reminders of why we do live in Minnesota at this time of year.
