Let it snow

Here are some pictures of Christmas Eve day from our side of town. We got somewhere between 17 and 24 inches though it was hard to tell due to the wind making large drifts. It was warm enough for Will to go out and help Daddy shovel but he came right in when the snow blower was fired up as he really doesn't like the behemoth.
We were so lucky on Christmas day when our brave friends Carla, Darrell, and Chelsey loaded up the sled, donned the warmest clothing they could find and pulled some gifts through the intense wind and deep drifts.
Will received his dream gift - the Imaginext space shuttle, space station, remote docking station and planet rover. He has played with it every day since and sleeps with some part of it every night.Em enjoyed opening the gift as much as she did playing with it. The felt board with many babies and their accessories with be very fun throughout the next few years.

The Torgersons stayed long enough to thaw out - about 2 hours - and then suited up to head back home. It was definitely a great way to break up the monotony of the blizzard.
